Urban Solutions Training and Development proudly celebrates the visionary leadership of Dr. Sharon DuMas, Founder and CEO. Her lifelong commitment to training, community empowerment, and purpose-driven service has helped shape lives for generations. Founded in 1982, it was in 2001 that USTAD became a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, as Urban Solutions Training and Development. USTAD has stood as a pillar of hope, growth, and transformation for 44 years. This milestone celebration is made even more meaningful because it marks the 10th anniversary of Dr. DuMas spearheading a team to rename Milwaukee Avenue to Stevie Wonder Avenue, honoring a legacy of love, music, service, and community impact. Together, these anniversaries reflect the power of vision, perseverance, and the enduring spirit of Detroit.                                                                                                                                                                       “Wonder P.E.A.C.E. Ambassador’s Program” - Vision: “Signed, Sealed, Delivered Harmony” Goal: to move beyond traditional conflict resolution by training a select group of student leaders and to serve as the emotional thermostat of their high school and peers.                                                                                     "Fullnfabulous Curvy Girl Project” – Our project has empowered young women for 44 years by focusing on self-esteem, health, and beauty with a remarkable record of zero teen pregnancies.                     “Season to Perfection” – A brilliant program for seniors ages 55 and over that nurtures health, strengthens mental wellness, and celebrates thriving at every stage of life.
